Network of InternationalChristian Schools (NICS)
ICAN is a member of the Network of International Christian Schools(NICS).
NICS operates 20 schools in 16 countries around the world, including one
online school. |
Being a part of a large international network ofschools benefits ICAN students by:
-recruiting highly qualified professional educators.
ICAN faculty members are recruited through the NICS Home Office.
-providing the opportunity for ICAN teachers to network with other educators around the world.
Teachers can share information, advice, and expertise with hundreds of professional teachers in similar schools.
-helping prepare ICAN teachers for working in an international school.
Each new teacher attends a two-week training in-service designed specifically
for educators working with international students.
Additionally, members of ICAN's experienced faculty are regularly counselors
and staff at this in-service.
